The Ecomondo 2010 identity card:

• 65,109 visitors (+2.8% more than 2009)
• 572 accredited Italian and international in the press room (443 in 2009)
• 1,500 exhibiting companies
• 75,000 sq.m. exhibition space
• 13 exhibition halls
• 250 conventions, 50 international ones, with more than 700 speakers and 11,000 attendees.

The number of visitors has risen by 42% over the past 6 years.

Business sector:
A quarter of all those attending are from the environmental services sector. The remainder represent: industry - mechanical, steel, petrochemical, pharmaceutical - (25%), food/craft (15%), public administration (14%), commerce and distribution (13%), sustainable building (10%), multi-utilities (6%), agriculture (5%), other (12%).

Positions held:
Commercial / marketing (36%), technicians/designers (24%), purchasing (11%).

Decision-making role:
72% of those interviewed were an active part of the decision-making process. 41% make the decisions, 31% influence decisions.
