Sustainable Development Awards
The Foundation for Sustainable Development, in collaboration with Ecomondo, is organising the Sustainable Development Award once more for 2015. The previous six editions have seen the prestigious participation of the President of the Italian Republic.
The Award aims to promote good practice and the best strategies of Italian businesses that achieve significant environmental results, with innovative initiatives, good prospects for development and positive results in terms of the economy and employment.
30 of the participants will be awarded a commemorative plaque and, of these, three will receive the "First Prize for Sustainable Development 2015" in their respective sectors and the Medal of the President of the Italian Republic*. The award ceremony will take place in the central hall, during the Ecomondo Expo (5 November 2015).
For 2015, the Award will be for businesses in the following sectors:
Waste and resources
Start-ups dedicated to the green economy
New for this year is a site dedicated to the Award – premiosvilupposostenibile.org – which gathers together all the previous editions (the businesses that received the award and those with a special mention and the photos of the event are shown).
Applying for the Award is free. All that’s required is to complete the form that can be downloaded below and e-mail it to firstname.lastname@example.org by 30 June 2015.
