AN INCREASINGLY INTERNATIONAL CHARACTER

Ecomondo focuses increasingly on internationality in order to offer exhibiting companies important opportunities for exchange, networking and business with specialist foreign buyers.

The main events in 2010:

• The biggest international cooperation exchange for businesses operating in the environmental and energy sectors will be repeated, offering a well-organized platform for the transfer of technologies, and the forging of commercial agreements, joint ventures, joint ventures in third markets, and research and development.
• ISWA (International Solid Waste Association): the exhibition will continue to work with this important association which represents more than 1100 members in over 70 countries around the world in order to promote Ecomondo and encourage attendance by technical operators and public and private agencies in the environmental sector, especially from countries in the Mediterranean basin (Turkey, Egypt, Greece and Tunisia) as well as Great Britain, Spain and Romania. 
• EPR - we continue to work closely with the leading European press release network, rolling out a sweeping media campaign targeting more than 50 specialist foreign publications and 23 international web portals focusing on the environment.
• International delegations and buyers from the Mediterranean area, Western Europe and North America, identified as being either environmental agencies that play a key role in the government of their countries or key operators in local markets.
• Collective stands for businesses and institutions representing European and non-European countries, to promote trade, such as Quebec-Canada, Sweden, The Netherlands, Spain, France, Brazil, UK, Germany and France.

Business meeting

Delegation of public and private actors from different countries of the southern Mediterranean area, such as Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan will attend the fair.

We aim to create opportunities for meetings between companies from the above mentioned countries and the Italian companies. The participating companies will take part in  business meetings organized on the basis of their requests and projects.
