The 27th edition of Ecomondo is approaching: the benchmark event for the Green & Circular Economy in Italy and the Mediterranean basin is finalising the details to unveil its new format. The goal is to interpret the trends and tendencies of a growing and rapidly evolving sector, opening up new frontiers and offering opportunities to be seized.
To arrive prepared and fully experience all that Ecomondo has to offer, we’ve prepared a small guide for you.
1. PLAN YOUR ITINERARY AT THE FAIR
Download the GreenTech Insights App, Ecomondo’s official app. You’ll have access to an interactive map so you can find your bearings in the different halls, check the events programme and receive reminders for appointments, as well as explore the exhibitors’ catalogue and contact them.
2. TWO NEW HALLS
This year we have built two new halls at the East entrance. They will be hosting companies from the Water Cycle & Blue Economy sector, as well as several start-ups. This significant investment is aimed at responding to the growing need for business spaces where various topics related to the circular economy can be discussed.
3. CHECK OUT THE EVENTS PROGRAMME
Over 200 events are scheduled this year, touching on all the key themes of the circular economy: from agroecology to environmental monitoring, from the blue economy to the integrated water cycle and soil health.
Browse the programme and mark the conferences that interest you on your agenda, so you do not miss them. When possible, register in advance to secure your place at the event.
4. DISCOVER TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS AND START-UPS
Ecomondo continues to expand into new fields of study and business, anticipating macro-economic changes and technological evolution.
Exhibitors will compete for the Lorenzo Cagnoni Award for the most innovative technology, solution or product, and the Innovation District will host 20 startups selected from over 100 applications from all over the world.
5. DO BUSINESS
Are you interested in discovering the latest innovations a company is launching on the market? Do you need benchmarks or to find partners for international expansion? Browse the exhibitors’ catalogue, where you will find information on all companies present, the new products they will be exhibiting in November and their contact details to find them at the fair.
From our app you can also organise appointments with the companies and organisations of the businesses you wish to explore.
6. DECIDE HOW TO REACH US IN ADVANCE
We are increasingly committed to offering collective mobility solutions to reduce car use. We have increased the number of stops for Frecciarossa, Intercity and regional trains at Rimini Fiera and planned special offers for passengers travelling by train. In addition, free shuttles will be available to take you from Bologna airport to Rimini Fiera during Ecomondo, as well as shuttles from the fair to the main hotels on the Riviera, from the north to the south of the province.
7. BRING A SUSTAINABLE VISION WITH YOU
Why not make your visit "green"? We have developed a calculation system to monitor the impact of Ecomondo visitors based on their movements. Answer five simple questions to help us gather valuable data that will help us improve the event.
