Groundwater: knowledge, best practices and perspectives

Agorà Malatesta - Enviromental Monitoring Area Hall D7

The conference will focus on methodology and modeling to increase knowledge of the amount of water available in aquifers. And in parallel to monitor and collect data on the quality of aquifers. In situations of climate change and periods of water scarcity, the availability of groundwater could help maintain ecological balance and could be a supply for agricultural needs. Ispra will present the map of aquifers: an important knowledge tool for planning.
