The companies facing the challenge of the circular economy

In order to strengthen the strategic role of the sector and give substance to the circular economy, it is now necessary to initiate a debate capable of bridging the gap not only between the current level of circularity in our economy and the desired level of circularity, but also between how widely the concept of the circular economy is used and how widely it is actually applied.

The Italian recycling industry continues to be a source of excellence for our country and a strategic resource for the circular economy and the decarbonization of the national and European economy, but since 2020, the circular use of materials has been experiencing a period of contraction.
