Thematic Tour: Plastic's second life

The thematic tours, now in their second edition, offer the opportunity to focus on a specific supply industry within the fair. Visitors will be guided through selected exhibitors based on their relevance and peculiarity in the sector.

A journey through the entire value chain of plastic recovery, treatment, and reuse, offering an overview of the various recycling methods currently in development and application. From mechanical to chemical recycling, including hybrid solutions, this experience highlights how these practices contribute to the transition toward a more circular and sustainable production model. During the visit, participants will have the opportunity to gain insight into companies involved in the design and manufacture of specialized machinery for plastic processing, as well as into those transforming recovered materials into high-quality new products. Emphasis will be placed on the role of research andthe development of increasingly efficient and low-impact processes. This guided tour aims to provide an integrated perspective on the ongoing evolution of the sector, emphasizing the synergies between industry, innovation, and sustainability.
