Event
The seminar aims to take stock of the work initiated by the European Commission in 2024 with the help of the Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Sevilla to consult European and national stakeholders.
Both Recycling Europe (formerly EURic ECDB - Construction & Demolition Waste Branch) and ANPAR are actively participating in the work by providing information and data on the current inert waste recovery practices and the difficulties in implementing the National Regulation.
The Key European Associations have discussed and are working together to provide the JRC with a homogeneous and complete picture of inert waste recovery at European level in order to have a Regulation by 2027 that will allow common rules in all Member States.
The simultaneous revision of many relevant European Directives and Regulations (WFD, REACH, CLP, CPR, etc.) and the forthcoming publication of the Circulary Economy Act give the End of Waste Regulation an even more important role that requires the utmost attention from the Commission and all Stakeholders.
