Event
Co-organized by the Italian National Association of Recycled Aggregates Producers (ANPAR) and the Recycling Europe Construction & Demolition Branch, the conference aims to foster the exchange of views on the ongoing development of EU end-of-waste criteria for mineral fraction of construction and demolition waste.
The European Commission (DG ENV) and the Joint Research Centre (JRC) will both deliver a presentation on the development of a European End-of-Waste Regulation for C&D waste, particularly regarding the articulation with the forthcoming Circular Economy Act, the development of Green Public Procurement criteria, the REACH regulation and sectoral legislation through the Construction Products Regulation.
The presentations will be followed by a roundtable bringing together stakeholders from across the recycling construction materials value chain. The discussion will build on the institutional perspectives presented by JRC and DG ENV and address key issues related to the development of end-of-waste criteria to support circularity in the European construction sector.
