In the framework of the INTERREG MED 2014-2020 Transnational Cooperation Programme, National and Regional public Institutions from 12 countries, from Portugal to Cyprus, implement PANORAMED project, one of the pillars on which the strategic architecture of the same Programme is based.

The project, which is the response to the need of a reinforcement of the governance tools in strategic field for the Mediterranean - tourism, maritime surveillance, environment, innovation -, aims to become a process that facilitates and support the definition of a unitary vision of policies for the whole area, joining the southern and northern shores starting from the promotion of strategic projects.

The second pillar of the MED Programme, which completes its architecture, is represented by the Horizontal Projects, 8 thematic communities of projects and partners that share a path aimed at communicating the results achieved and strengthening the capitalization of the same results.

The objective of the Conference is to present the ongoing high level activities of the MED Programme, through PANORAMED and the Horizontal
