Organized by: Ecomondo Scientific Technical Committee & ASviS
The topic of the availability of skilled workforce in an appropriate quality and quantity, of the upskillig and reskilling, is key to addressing the green transition, achieving on the ground the same goals of the national recovery and resilience plan, making our production system competitive and resilient, and preparing our society for the future challenges. Given that transition processes impose both speed and effectiveness, it is of utmost urgency to implement strategic planning for skills, defining scientific content, ambitious policy agendas through a participatory dialogue between government, business, academia, trade unions, and other stakeholders, while also pursuing social inclusiveness goals.
Building on the theoretical-scientific elaboration and policy goals already adopted at the EU level, the conference aims to contribute to accelerating the debate on this critical issue.
