The USABLE PACKAGING project, funded by the Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking (JU) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme (grant No 836884) has proven the concept that by -products from food production can be transformed into compostable packaging and other products. This conference will present the results of the project, delivered over three years and led by Spain’s Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas (CSIC).
