The Conference aims to continue from previous Ecomondo’s Editions the discussion on the challenges and opportunities of circular economy in several sectors of sea economy. Circularity principles at the base of the Circular Economy Package are very relevant in the context of the EU Green Deal, as they must be reflected in national strategies (e.g. BIT II - A new Bioeconomy strategy for a sustainable Italy; Italian Recovery Plan (PNRR - Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza)). Following some keynote presentations on key trajectories of national and Mediterranean relevance, a series of pitches from science, academia, decision makers, private operators will showcase best practices and experiences in different sectors.
