Health Impact Assessment (HIA): technical and scientific insights from the ISS HIA Guidelines and future prospects

The workshop aims to describe the scientific insights and training activities of LG HIAs developed during the progress of the Ministry of Health's CCM project, which ended in March 2023. It also aims to focus on the procedural aspects that require further analysis both to expand the application of HIA and to make integrated environment and health assessments more effective. In fact, the collaboration on the CCM project by several regional bodies has indicated the relevance of working on an integration between the territorial HIA approaches the national one in order to define a homogeneous and consistent procedure for the Italian territory.
