Circular and Sustainable Made in Italy is a National Extended Partnership between companies and research centers (Universities and CNR) throughout Italy, financed by the Ministry of University and Research thanks to funds from the NextGenerationEU programme. MICS wants to be the protagonist of the country's ecological and digital transition process, supporting and enabling circular, self-sufficient, self-regenerative, reliable, safe and sustainable design and production of Made in Italy excellence over the next three years.

The focus of MICS will (at the moment) be three sectors such as Fashion, Furniture and Automation, towards which the ambitions of basic research aimed at enhancing sustainability and circularity will be channeled. Research that sees the world of business and academic research united for the first time in a sort of great crusade of forces and brains, the largest ever activated in our country. MICS has impactful system numbers and a significant challenge which in the next three years will develop over one hundred research projects of certain application in innovative Italian companies with an international reach.
