Mattia Pellegrini

Head of Department Finance and Administration at the European Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME)

Mattia Pellegrini is currently Head of Department Finance and Administration (about 160 staff) at the European Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME). Previously, he held for five years the position of Head of Unit for Raw Materials at DG GROW. Prior to that, he worked as Member of the Cabinet of the Vice president of the European Commission, Antonio Tajani. Before joining the Cabinet, he was Deputy Head of Unit at DG SANCO. Mr Pellegrini has previously worked in DG Environment and in DG Competition (where he joined the European Commission in September 2000). He has a Master’s Degree in European Legal Studies obtained at the College of Europe, Bruges.
