Apart from the aspect of the buyers, as far as internationality is concerned, the appointments included in the seminar calendar also have a very high profile.

The incoming visitor flow and relative promotion activity were realized thanks to the valuable fundamental collaboration with ITA - Italian Trade Agency and MISE, and in particular with the support of the Industrial Technology Energy and Environment Office of the ITA.

For the first time, Ecomondo will host an Italy - Egypt Business Forum ´Water, Energy, Waste, Mobility´, organized by the Ecomondo Technical Scientific Committee in partnership with the Italian Embassy in Cairo and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Egypt. A truly pre-eminent event, being held on the expos´ inaugural day - which follows up on the first stage of the Italy-Egypt meeting organized in Cairo last year - with the participation of Tamer Mostafa, Head of the Cabinet of the Egyptian Ministry of the Environment, who will lead an Egyptian delegation of authoritative speakers. We must remember the international event dedicated to the green economy, organized by IEG, which is held in China in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan (southwest China). In March 2019, the 15th edition was held of the Chengdu Environmental Protection Expo (CDEPE), organized by Europe China Environmental Exhibitions (ECEE), the company founded by organizer Xin Zhong Lian Exhibitions and EAGLE - Europe Asia Global Link Exhibitions, IEG´s special-purpose entity that last September acquired 60% of the expo. CDEPE is famed for being the largest environmental protection expo in Western China and the link between Southwest China and the world of green technology.
Another international initiative by Ecomondo held in May 2019 at the San Paolo Expo Center was Ecomondo Brasil, the B2B expo dedicated to technological solutions for the management of industrial waste with a focus on agricultural biomass. The exhibition was organized by Expo Extratégia Brasil, the company in which IEG and Tecniche Nuove are shareholders.
