Key Energy is launching the ´Africa Green Growth´ project, which aims to promote trade relations between Italian companies and those countries on the African continent that are projected towards a model of sustainable development through green technologies. The two Italian Exhibition Group shows, scheduled to open on Tuesday 26th October at Rimini Exhibition Centre, thus confirm their roles as international reference points both for waste management and as a platform for renewable energies aimed at sustainable social and economic development in Africa.
220 operators from countries in Africa, the Mediterranean and sub-Saharan shores, the Balkan Peninsula, Eastern Europe, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, etc., together with international associations, institutions, experts participate at Ecomondo. The digital extension of the two exhibitions is already available (active until 5th November) to assist operators from more distant markets.

With three international offices for Asia and Australia, the Mediterranean, the Balkans and the Middle East and Latin America, and nine working groups ranging from medical waste treatment to recycling, biological waste treatment and hazardous waste, ISWA is the world´s leading independent, non-profit association. Since 2015, when it was estimated that 2 billion people worldwide did not have access to a basic waste collection service and about 3 billion did not have access to controlled disposal services for municipal solid waste, what progress has been made towards global waste management? This conference will focus in particular on the Mediterranean area (Ravezzi Hall 1, South Hall, 2 pm).
