The 28th edition of Ecomondo is approaching: the benchmark event for the Green & Circular Economy in Italy and the Mediterranean basin is finalising the details to unveil its new format. The goal is to interpret the trends and tendencies of a growing and rapidly evolving sector, opening up new frontiers and offering opportunities to be seized.
To arrive prepared and fully experience all that Ecomondo has to offer, we’ve prepared a small guide for you: from thematic routes to new districts, from the events programme to how to reach us in a sustainable way, up to the unmissable events and the app you should always keep at hand.
1. Plan your itinerary at the fair
Download the official Ecomondo App. You will have access to an interactive map so you can find your bearings in the different halls, check the events programme, as well as explore the exhibitors’ catalogue and book one of our free guided tours.
>> Download the App
2. Enter the Water sector from the East entrance
Pavilions B8 and D8, located at the East entrance, will host companies from the Water Cycle & Blue Economy sector, along with the Trenchless District. This is a strategic decision aimed at meeting the growing demand for business spaces dedicated to the water sector and fostering dialogue on circular economy topics.
If you arrive at the South Entrance, you can easily reach the East Area aboard Ecomondo’s fully electric train. It will take you directly to the pavilion entrance. By boarding, you will enjoy exclusive access to the fast track, plus free cloakroom service and coffee.

3. Bring your WEEE to Ecomondo
Thanks to the “RAEE-START: Switch on the Change” campaign, a special WEEE collection point has been set up in the South Hall, where visitors, exhibitors and stakeholders can drop off their small electronic waste that has been left forgotten in drawers.

4. Check out the events program
Over 200 events are scheduled this year, touching on all the key themes of the circular economy: from agroecology to environmental monitoring, from the blue economy to the integrated water cycle and soil health. Browse the program and mark the conferences that interest you on your agenda, so you do not miss them. When possible, register in advance to secure your place at the event.

Ecomondo continues to expand into new fields of study and business, responding to major economic shifts and technological evolution. Exhibitors will take part in the Lorenzo Cagnoni Award, which recognizes the most innovative technology, solution or product. The Innovation District will host 20 start-ups selected from over 100 applications from around the world. Alongside them, a group of start-ups from the African continent will present new circular economy solutions.

8. Decide how to reach us in advance
We are increasingly committed to offering collective mobility solutions to reduce car usage. We have increased the number of Frecciarossa, Intercity, and regional train stops at Rimini Expo Centre and arranged special fares for those travelling by train.
In addition, free shuttles will be available to take you from Bologna and Rimini airports to the Expo Centre during the days of Ecomondo, as well as from the venue to major hotels along the Riviera, from the north to the south of the province.

9. Join the plogging session
Wrap up the days of the event by continuing to support the circular economy: on Saturday, November 8, take part in the ECOMONDO RUN, a morning of plogging on Rimini’s public beach: a run or walk that combines physical activity with litter collection. Find out all the details, access the registration form, and join the initiative.
