He graduated and obtained a Ph.D in Philosophy. He has published a number of articles in various scientific journals and co-translated scientific essays.

He "recycled" his skills in the field of waste management obtaining a Master's degree from Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, where he worked for a short time at the Institute of Management (research grant) and occasionally at a university’s spin-off company (within a European Life+ project).

In 2012 he joined Federambiente, dealing in particular with policies and tools for waste prevention.

Since 2016 he has worked in the waste management sector of Utilitalia (the Italian association of public services for water, environment, electricity and gas). On behalf of Utilitalia, he takes part in sector studies and research, as well as in various institutional activities at the national level (ministries and technical bodies).
