ECOMONDO CHINA - CDEPE
Environment and energy transition: the 18th edition Ecomondo China – CDEPE, in Chengdu Century City Expo Centre scheduled has successfully concluded.
With a new claim Leading the Ecological and Energy Transition in Western China, Ecomondo's overseas project introduced two important new innovations:
► a new sector dedicated to energy storage and electric mobility, which follows the investments and efforts made by the Chinese government for the energy transition.
► the introduction of the Festival of Sustainable Development: a specialized conference co-organized by IEG, the Italian Consulate in Chongqing, and the Foreign Affairs Office of the City of Chengdu under the umbrella of the “Festival of Sustainability in the World” initiative, promoted by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS) and MAECI.
The event brought together Italian and Chinese stakeholders to explore innovations and case histories of Italian companies in order to introduce made-in-Italy technologies useful to mitigate climate change and address environmental risks in China.
Ecomondo China will return from 27-29 March 2025, again in Chengdu!
Ecomondo China is working to be more and more the place for business and networking for Chinese and international operators, the appointment to take up and face the urgent and constant challenges that the environment and energy transition pose on a global level.
For Italian and European exports in 2024, China confirms itself as a key market: a dynamic economy, despite global uncertainties, and a fast-growing market for green technologies for which, in the two-year period 2025-2026, growth of +14% per year is expected for Italian exports, the second largest among European countries.
