Enrico Cancila
An expert economist in environmental management, he has worked with both companies and public bodies, coordinating and managing projects of national and international importance on issues related to the relationship between the economy and the environment. He has collaborated with the European Commission, the Ministry of the Environment and with various Italian Regions and is a member of the main working groups on issues relating to the green economy and sustainable development. He is currently head of the Economy and Environment Unit of the In-House Agency of the Emilia Romagna Region which includes both environmental and energy-related issues and sustainable economic development. On the management of the environment and the green economy he is co-author of publications and articles and has lectured in various universities and in the main Italian specialization courses.
