Gian Marco Revel

Lecturer in Measurements at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences of the Polytechnic University of Marche

Gian Marco Revel is a Lecturer in Measurements at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences of the Polytechnic University of Marche, where he also serves as the Rector’s Delegate for European Projects. For years, he has been conducting research in the field of measurement systems and advanced sensing for smart home, energy, acoustic, smart city applications, non-destructive testing, and the management of production processes for building materials. He is the author of over 100 publications and co-inventor of international and national patents.

He is also responsible for numerous industrial collaborations and research projects, particularly within the framework of European Commission Programs.

Finally, he serves as the Coordinator of the Materials & Sustainability Committee of the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP) and has acted as Rapporteur for the European Commission within the framework of the SET-Plan (Strategic Energy Technology Plan).
