Giuseppe Padula
Giuseppe Padula, Mech. Eng, MBA, is Professor at University of San Marino, Bologna, Parma, and Business Consultant for Manufacturing Process Innovation.
Since 2012 he focused his field of activity in Digital Manufacturing Transformation: is the author of the first Italian articles, industrial patents and final dissertations concerning Cloud-based Manufacturing.
He is External Expert nominated from the European Union DG Connect for the definition of the ‘Digital Europe 2021/22’ framework programme, and external evaluator for the EU I4MS support actions (CSA) aimed to implement and enforce the network of European-based Digital Innovation Hub.
He is Technical Director of the Italian Magazine ‘Industrie 4.0’, and he regularly publishes in Italian and international magazines about Digital Manufacturing Transformation.
He is co-founder of the EMBID Master at Bologna Business School (Executive Master in Business Innovation Design) and director of the module ’Industry 4.0 Enabling Technologies’.
He has been Guest Speaker at University of California, Santa Barbara, at SAP Design Thinking Centre of Palo Alto, and at the Italian television program of Rai 3 ‘Report’ on the topic of Digital Manufacturing Transformation, and he attended as expert on the topic to numerous events.
He co-founded in 2014 the german start-up ‘CloudSME’, aimed to broker Cloud-based Manufacturing services to European SMEs.
