With a career focused on innovation and strategic vision, he has 20 years of experience in developing sustainable technologies for the maritime sector. Paolo Guglia has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a MEDEA Master's degree from EniCorporateUniversity. After a brief experience in the ENI group, he joined the Innovation Department of Fincantieri. He has coordinated technology development projects funded by the European Commission, participating in advocacy tables for the definition of maritime technology priorities, and serving on a number of European Commission expert committees representing industry associations.

He is a passionate advocate for innovation and sustainability policies, aspects he considers central to the future of the maritime economy, and is committed to the development of key technology solutions for strengthening the blue economy nationally and internationally
