Riccardo Orsini
Director of the Sustainable Development Foundation since 2008. After the initial experience with an environmental law firm, where he mainly dealt with EU funding and business support, he served as senior professional in FS/Trenitalia from 1999 to 2005 and from 2005 to 2008, senior advisor environment and sustainability of the International Union of Railways in Paris (UIC) where he led various international projects, including the Volunteer Program reduction of CO2 emissions of railway companies in the world. Member of working groups on sustainable mobility of the European Commission, the European Environmental Agency, the World Economic Forum, and external evaluator of EU funding, he is a speaker at numerous international conferences and author of various publications on sustainable development.
