Daniela Sani
Since 2006 employed in Aster, she is coordinator of the Regional Technology Platform “Energy and
Environment”; she supports the laboratories and the innovation centres of the Regional High Technology
Network of the thematic area “Environment, Energy, and Sustainable Development”. She represents the
Emilia-Romagna region in the National Cluster Green Chemistry (SPRING) and she id Chief Operation Officer
of Clusters Marche Manufacturing and-leaving of the Marche region. In the Knowledge Innovation
Community (KIC), launched by the European Institute of Technology (EIT), she coordinates the ASTER-CNRUniveristy of Bologna working group in the EIT Raw Materials and she is a member of the SG of the CLC
South; in the Climate-KIC she is Innovation manager of the Regional Innovation Community of the Emilia-
Romagna region.
At European Commission level, she operate as external evaluator in H2020, and she is expert for the
European Innovation Partnership (EIP) on Raw Materials. Since 2012 is Contract Professor of the official
course European Programs at the Faculty of Economics of the Polytechnic University of Marche; already
contract professor at the Faculty of Science and Engineering. She has over 10 years of Research experience
in environmental issues with production of more than 70 of which 1/3 surveyed by Scopus and Google
science. Education: Mediator – Registered at the legal body of the Ancona Chamber of Commerce; Master
in Business Administration; Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering at the Technical University of Turin; M.Sc.
Degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Ancona.
