The conference aims to explore the challenges and opportunities facing the European agri-food sector in the era of ecological and digital transitions. The event will highlight the crucial role that agriculture, food production, and the entire agri-food value chain—closely connected with the research community—can play in achieving economic growth, attractiveness, and competitiveness, while also supporting decarbonization goals in line with the new EU directives.

Key focus will be placed on the essential factors needed to ensure generational renewal, stability, and the attractiveness of the agri-food sector, as well as on the development of technologies crucial for enabling processes and pathways toward a fair transition to climate neutrality.

Further discussions will address themes such as the integration of technological innovation with sustainability, the digitalization of the supply chain, emission reduction practices, and the creation of an inclusive and fair food system that ensures food security and access to healthy and sustainable food.
