Special Projects

Investing in innovationEcomondo also dedicates an exhibition area to innovation, a true district in which to ensure visibility to all entities that constantly invest in research and development, contributing to progress and the economic transition to green and sustainable models.

This area is the Innovation District. It occupies the central part of the show, the south hall, and hosts the world of industry, the competence centreresearch bodies and institutions committed to the ecological transition.

In keeping with its nature as a hub, this area of the event will showcase industry's most cutting-edge solutions for the green & tech sector and environmental sustainability.

The companies proposing these projects will also be able to take part in a real competition, the E23 Innovation Award, which will recognise the three most innovative projects at the show, selected by the Assessment Committee.

The 20 Start-Ups selected through the call will also be awarded prizes, with the three most technologically innovative products/services being chosen. The product/service will be assessed by the Assessment Committee consisting of representatives from the show, the world of research, associations and industry.

Finally, the Innovation District will be complemented by a packed programme of conventions and themed events. Various speakers will take turns on stage in the Innovation Arena over the four days of the show, an opportunity to keep up to date on the latest trends, share ideas and projects with the sector's key players.

It will also host the Green Jobs project, where you will be able to find out about training and career opportunities in the ecological transition and circular economy sector, with a career guidance service available to students and young people entering the world of work.
