Ecomondo increases the spaces dedicated to the ecological transition in all its forms, hosting the main companies of services, solutions, and technologies in the environmental sector: from water management to waste disposal, from blue economy to bioenergy, from soil management and protection to transport, agriculture and sustainable cities and places them side by side with special areas for transversal projects, spaces dedicated to networking, innovation, and training.

With the two new Halls, B8 and D8, located at the East entrance of the fair, Ecomondo aims to respond to the growing exhibition demand by hosting part of the Water Cycle & Blue Economy sector in 2024. This area will also feature a new meeting and networking location called the Utilities Village.

THE RECOVERY AND REUSE OF THE WATER RESOURCE


Hall D8 is designed to complete and enrich the exhibition offerings of the water sector and treatment plants. The spaces, in fact, will host new Italian and international exhibitors with their best products, machinery, and technologies dedicated to the supply chain of recovery and, reuse, treatment plants, potabilization, reuse of wastewater and rainwater, also treatment, valorization, and disposal of sewage sludge. There will also be points dedicated to the design and management of urban, industrial, and agricultural wastewater treatment plants.

With a focus on monitoring, safety, and analysis of the resource returned to the environment, the new halls will finally host two new rooms for technical-scientific conferences on the Water Cycle.

A new section entirely dedicated to Earth Observation, which has become an indispensable tool for monitoring the health of the planet, studying climate change, and preventing it, will also be established within this hall.

THE ENTIRE SUPPLY CHAIN IN A SINGLE HALL


Hall B8 will add exhibition space dedicated to the integrated water cycle, public waterworks, and utilities department, a sector that has more than doubled in size in the past two years.

Connected to the brand new
Utilities Village, it will host new companies producing pipes, pipelines, pumps, turbines, valves and fittings, sustainable urban drainage, sumps, manufactures, inverters, controllers, meters, sensors, and data management, remote control and, IOT.

Here, the industry meets the necessary supply from the
sea through desalination and plants, within the Blue Economy area which includes all industries and economic sectors related to oceans, seas, and coasts.
